Meet the man behind the F2 Elite Soccer Academy

Mo Osman began his coaching career at Premiership Football Club Arsenal at age

17,working with local players on After school clubs & holiday courses.

After 2 years he moved to Colchester and spent five years working with the Colchester

United ‘Football In The Community’ Scheme, working once again with local schools,

holiday courses and working on then the newly formed ‘Advanced Coaching

Programme’.

In September 1999 Mo formed Football 2000 which then led onto spotting local talent

and the need for the F2 Elite Football Academy which kick off in September 2002 and

still goin strong.

In July 2006 Mo worked with the Colchester United ‘Centre Of Excellence’ Under 14’s

Squad. Mo gained his UEFA B (FA Level 3) on 4th March 2007.

The Dream

I understand the passion of living the dream, many young players share this same dream, but harshly there is only a very small percentage of young players that actually progress up the ladder to make that dream become a reality.

I started the F2 Elite Football Academy was started in 2002 not to promise any player that they would reach all there goals, as anyone that makes this promise is only selling you a lie, but to help develop these young gifted and talented players to the best player that they could possibly be. The level for some players will only be playing for their local team, some may progress onto representing their county or league representative squad and the ultimate goal is to gain a contract at a professional football club, if not some very good players earn a decent living balancing a full time job and playing semi professional football.

Whatever playing level you reach, the main aspect is that you enjoy the participation and the competition of football and we aim to nurture our players talents in a fun and enjoyable environment to help achieve their maximum potential.

We are not a football club so I am not selling you a club badge, what we are selling you is quality training sessions,.

The academy is for any players that are serious and willing to work hard to improve their ability. Be rest assured their are no easy steps into becoming a professional footballer and work on and off the pitch is required.

I always advise parents and players if you are attending the F2 Elite because you think your are going to be recommended to a professional football club, then save your money. If you would like to attend to become a better player then you have come to the right place.

Players will always let you know if they are enjoying our training and the best way to assess your child’s improvement is to watch him play on the weekend for his team. If the player is ready to progress to a Centre Of Excellence trust me if his good enough, people will talk and clubs will find him ( If I think his ready I will make a recommendation).
